Sarah filmed some Brown Mountain Lights from the Lost Cove Cliffs overlook, described as an orb hot spot in Charles Gritzner’s 2019 North Carolina Ghost Lights and Legends. This was shot April 27, 2024. Earlier that evening we’d seen a very prominent SpaceX Falcon 9 around 8:41pm after launch at Kennedy Space Center. The lights shown below were seen around 8:53. Packing up to leave around 9pm to put kids to bed, we met a couple scanning the overlook who’d seen the lights at this location before.
