Ep 12: Flats Fishing with Florida’s Pink Plesiosaur

In this episode, Sarah and Matt interview fishing guide Barrett Christiansen about his experience seeing a pink cryptid busting through the mangroves on the Florida coast with a six-foot long, pink and vertically compressed tail. And Sarah looks into the sea serpents of the southeastern US to find comparable critters like the St. John’s River Monster (aka the Borinkus!) and southeastern Georgia’s Altamaha-ha

Sarah sculpted the famous pink plesiosaur of the Florida coast, the St John’s River Monster (also known as Pinkie and Borinkus),as described by witnesses.

A father and sun exploring the Georgia coast came across this creature washed up on the shore in 2018 that turned out to be the creation of a hoaxing performance artist Zardulu. A pinned tweet from her X account reads… “It’s not enough to wish the world were more magical, sometimes you have to be the magician”. You can download her artist’s manifesto here.
