    I don’t think it was Bigfoot. Dave Helfrich and I ran Fish Ladder rapid years ago, then pulled our boats over to have a beer. We retreated a few yards into the forest to find shade, and there we encountered a hippie who had been lost since the Grateful Dead concert decades ago in Autzen Stadium. That’s him. Pretty sure. It’s true.
